Wards part of the set blew me away. When he did all of his songs acoustic I have never heard anything like it. I have listened to the songs he played and they don't sound anything like they did live, im still quite puzzled. Yim Yames voice was great, especially on the one song where they brought a ton of fog around him. Do you know which song that was? I think M. Wards part of the set blew me away. Ward should have received more coverage. He sounded great and the performances of his songs were among the most compelling moments of the evening. I'm happy you were there to witness it and that you said something here. One of the things I love most about music (and life) is that everybody's experience of it can be perceived differently. It also sparks and encourages conversation long after an album comes out or a show passes through town. I appreciate the conversation with you and hope to see you at more shows in the future.
